Hook Lift, Tail Lift & Skip Loader Installs

Hook lifts, skip loaders and tail lifts are installed on trucks used for waste, construction, logistics and material handling where lifting, loading or interchangeable bodies are required. Installation depends on chassis configuration, load ratings, axle limits and the operating cycle of the vehicle.

CraneMech installs hook lift systems, skip loaders and tail lifts on a range of rigid trucks. Each installation is planned around the lifting system selected, body length, rear overhang, mounting requirements and hydraulic capacity to ensure the equipment operates correctly under load.

These installations are commonly completed as part of a new truck build, conversion of an existing vehicle, or replacement of worn or non-compliant equipment. Where required, supporting structural work and hydraulic setup are completed as part of the same job.

All hook lift, skip loader and tail lift installation work is carried out at the CraneMech Deception Bay workshop, supporting trucks operating across Brisbane’s north side and outer regions and the Brisbane metropolitan area.

Installations are planned around axle limits, body length and operating loads, not just the lifting system.
