Fabrication Work for Heavy Vehicles and Equipment
General fabrication work is carried out where structural modification, reinforcement or component fabrication is required to support vehicle operation. Fabrication scope depends on load conditions, mounting requirements and how the fabricated components will be used in service.
CraneMech carries out general fabrication work on trucks, trailers and crane-equipped vehicles used in transport, construction and industrial operations. Fabrication is planned around structural integrity, load paths and compatibility with existing vehicle systems.
General fabrication is commonly required to support repairs, modifications, equipment installation or defect rectification identified during inspection. Where required, fabrication work is coordinated with mechanical or hydraulic tasks to ensure fabricated components do not introduce secondary issues.
All general fabrication work is carried out from the CraneMech Deception Bay workshop, with vehicles brought in from North Brisbane and the Brisbane metropolitan area, including operators based in Caboolture and North Lakes.
