Fabrication of Vehicle Accessories and Supporting Equipment
Custom accessory fabrication is carried out where standard off-the-shelf components do not suit the vehicle configuration, operating requirements or equipment being fitted. Fabrication scope depends on load conditions, mounting locations and how the accessory will be used in service.
CraneMech fabricates vehicle accessories for rigid trucks, prime movers and trailers used in transport, construction and industrial operations. Accessories are designed to integrate with existing vehicle structures, crane systems, bodies and auxiliary equipment.
Accessory fabrication is commonly completed to support crane installations, improve equipment access, protect vehicle components or accommodate specific operational requirements. Where required, fabrication work is coordinated with mechanical, hydraulic or body building work through the same workshop.
All accessory fabrication work is carried out from the CraneMech Deception Bay workshop, with vehicles brought in from North Brisbane and the Brisbane metropolitan area, including operators based in Brendale and Narangba.
