Heavy Vehicle Body Building and Modification
Body building work is carried out to suit the vehicle’s intended task, load requirements and operating conditions. Scope varies depending on vehicle type, body configuration and the equipment being carried or supported.
CraneMech undertakes body building work on rigid trucks and trailers used in transport, construction and industrial operations. Body builds are planned around structural strength, load distribution, mounting requirements and integration with cranes, tail lifts or other auxiliary equipment.
Body building is commonly completed for new vehicle builds, replacement of damaged bodies, modification of existing setups, or changes to vehicle use. Where required, associated fabrication, mechanical and hydraulic work is completed through the same workshop to maintain control over quality and responsibility.
All body building work is carried out from the CraneMech Deception Bay workshop, with vehicles brought in from North Brisbane and the Brisbane metropolitan area, including operators based in Brendale and Narangba.
